The deal between you and Femio: what we promise, what we ask of you, and the limits of what a tracking and education service can do.
Draft — not yet in force
This is our plain-language draft, published for transparency while our lawyers finalise the binding version. It is not an agreement between us yet, and the company details, governing law and liability wording below are still to be settled.
What Femio is — and is not
Femio gives you educational content and tools to record and understand your own health. It does not give medical advice, does not tell you what is wrong with you, and does not replace your clinician. Using it creates no clinician–patient relationship. Fertile-window estimates support conception planning and awareness only — they are not a reliable way to avoid pregnancy. If you think you are having an emergency, contact your local emergency services or go to your nearest emergency department.
Who can use it
You need to be old enough to consent to health-data processing where you live, or to have a parent’s or guardian’s consent. Teen accounts start with a safer set-up. The exact ages per country are being confirmed with lawyers.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself, give us accurate information, and tell us if someone else gets into your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.
Fair use
Use Femio for your own health. Don’t scrape it, break it, resell it, overload our systems, or use it to harm anyone. We may suspend accounts that do.
Money
Femio’s core — logging, honest estimates and the health library — is free and stays free. If we add a paid tier later it will add depth and never take basics away, and we will show the price, renewal terms and refund rules before you pay anything.
What you post
Anything you post in a community space must be lawful and respectful, and giving medical advice to other users is not allowed. You keep ownership of your own content and give us only the permission we need to show it. We may remove content that breaks these rules.
What we own
Femio’s software, brand and original content belong to us. Guidance we cite from medical bodies belongs to them, and is credited and linked.
Limits
We work hard on accuracy, but Femio is provided as-is, and no health information can account for your individual situation — decisions about your health are for you and your clinician. The precise disclaimers and liability limits are being drafted by lawyers, and nothing here will remove rights that consumer law gives you.
Ending it
You can delete your account whenever you want, from inside the app, and your data goes with it. We may limit or end access if these terms are broken, or if we have to stop offering the service.
Law and disputes
Which country’s law applies and how disputes are handled will follow the company we register, and will be stated here before launch.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you and give you the chance to stop using Femio.
Femio is a wellness, education and tracking service. It is not a medical device and never replaces your clinician’s care.
